Sarah Horowitz recently moved to Leavenworth, Washington with her family in search of small town life, mountains, and more plants to draw. Previously she was in Portland Oregon for fourteen years where she was member of Atelier Mars printmaking workshop and taught printmaking at Portland State University. In addition to prints and drawings, Horowitz produces hand printed and bound artist's books under her imprint Wiesedruck. Horowitz attended residencies at the Frans Masreel Centrum for printmaking in Kasterlee, Belgium and at Caldera in Oregon and has received several grants from Portland State University and the Regional Arts and Culture Council, Oregon. Her prints and drawings are represented by Froelick Gallery in Portland, Oregon and her books by Kenneth Shure (Gehenna Press/Two Ponds Press).
